Laura Pickel, an instructor at Stanford and learning designer at Lyft, and Jarrett Coggin, a staff engineer at Aktify and founder at StreamSounds, visit GS 52g office to give a presentation and lead a design thinking workshop on a topic of Designing with Data. This workshop looks into the concept of big data vs. thick data, dives into the techniques of "pretotyping" and discuss A/B testing in detail. Participants from GS will have a chance to design a pretotype and come up with an A/B test for different scenarios.
