Stanford Center at the Incheon Global Center (SCIGC) hosted its very first Circular Economy Symposium with the theme of "Closing the loop through sustainable material, technology & business", on December 8th, 2021 from 10AM to 5:30PM at SCIGC office.

This day-long symposium invited experts, specialists, academics and entrepreneurs in the field of sustainability to speak on topics such as circular economy, renewable materials, sustainable packaging and merchandising, upcycled fashion, sustainable mobility design, and more. Each presentation was followed by open Q&A session with questions from the enthusiastic audience both on the site and on Zoom.

This event provided not only learning opportunities but also a welcoming space for people with similar interests to get together to have discussions and conversation on business and academic collaborations among speakers and participants.

Circular Economy Symposium is expected to be a recurring symposium on various topics of sustainability and circular economy.
